A lizard here, a lizard there… Seraphon mounts, assamble! WiP.

I had a little more time to get on with painting more of my little Seraphon army. So, there you go: more Mounts though No Blades (Saurus Knights on Cold Ones, without the Knights component…).

M&Ms as a colour reference!

The Mint-Blue Guy:

  • “Trotting to the right…”
  • “… and a bit to the left…”
  • “Yeah, sure, just take the photo. And get lost already”. Many Seraphon look somewhat tired…?

The Violet-blue Guy

  • A little feisty, this one is!
  • I love how the blues dance with violet-pink detalis.
  • “Hmpf!”

And last, but not least – the Fiery-Red Guy. He is the leader’s mount, that’s why he’s the wearing a golden headpiece.

  • “RAWR!”
  • He has the brightest colours and he was the easiest to paint – choise of palette was quite obvious to me.

Sicarian Ruststalker from Stygies VIII – WiP

From the rugged deserts smoldered by acid rains, from hive-city spires drowned in caustic sulfates and constant thud of tireless Manufactorum halls of Stygies VIII, come the Sicarian Ruststalkers.

Sicarian Ruststalker – a bit like a Deadpool?

These machine-human hybrids were created by Tech-Priests millennia ago to fight none other than the Deatch Watch, sent by the Holy Inquisition itself. The Ruststalkers challenged the Astartes in guerilla warfare over Stygies VIII’s infamous admiration of xenotech.

Their equipment and skill, both engineered to the highest precission, are still used by Tech-Priests of Stygies VIII on numerous expeditions, especially as a special ops troops. A subtle scent of oil and a faint buzz of servo-motors are the last things their unsuspecting victims experience – but only if the Ruststalkers allow it.

  • Their movement is increased by replacing feet with metallic hooves.
  • A little detail, a litte more colour!
  • Transsonic blade looks suspiciously simmilar to Necron melee weaponry…

Collonel Straken – the Metallic Slayer of Beasts!

It’s not his official name, but taking into accout his personal story, I guess it suits him. You know why he has a robotic arm? Because it was bitten off by an animal. Whose skull in dangling on Straken’s hip ever since. It was a pleasure and good fun working on this one.

  • Nice Bottom, Collonel.
  • It was my first serious try on painting muscles in flesh-shades. I guess it’s good enough!
