As a present for my parent, I decided to try out lacing with a small hook and a thin yarn. I chose a 100% cotton, 100g/830m yarn in a pure, white colour.

I worked many days on this project and had to “ctrl+z” a bit too many times… Nonetheless, the final doily has a gorgeous look in my opinion.
The pattern author is unknown to me. The only source I found was this lady on YT, so if You are interested in making one yourself, check out her channel (eng). As for now, I’m working on transcribing the pattern and hopefully once I do that, I’ll be able to post it on my blog for the Future Generations to find ^^’
I decided to starch this doily and block it then, it’s quite delicate lacework and without the rigidity it easily crumbles and twists.
Happy Easter everyone!
